"My grade 3/4 class’s video chat with Sharon Nichols was phenomenal. She was engaging with the students and created a genuine interaction and connection with them. The students loved her book and were able to draw many connections between her book and their own experiences. They were inspired by her short story and her experience publishing a book. Sharon spent lots of time going into detail about how the book was written, what inspired her, information about the illustrations, and the process of publishing. She answered all their questions and gave them inspirational advice. As soon as we hung up the students asked if they could have time to start writing their own books- she reminded them that you’re never too young to publish a book. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who is looking to inspire writers."
